Designer Carrie Van Hise treats silk as a blank canvas to create her graphic compositions resulting in unique design pieces that transcend trends. Inspired by her native New York and Barcelona, her adopted home, her designs reinterpret traditional folklore and the beauty in the ordinary, the light of the Mediterranean, traditional mosaic tiles, the spirit of flamenco or the forms and colours found in nature.
