Violette Heger-Hedløy has been painting silk for more than 20 years, over the years she has developed her own technique. Her favorite silk is chinico, she also paints on other supports such as satin, velvet, wild silk, wool or linen.

The technique is very similar to that of watercolor but in this case in large format.

Each piece is unique, the silk is sewn by hand on the blanket.
