This ceramic vase, about 28cm high, is a unique piece, handmade and hand-glazed. Perhaps by painting the "flames" in a plain colour, it is less literal and leaves more to the imagination the nature of the shapes... leaves, perhaps? Cobalt, a colour associated with traditional ceramics, gives the piece presence. It was born to please you, to excite you, to brighten up your day! To make you dare to try something different, to remind you that sometimes objects also have the power to inspire us. It may present slight alterations and singularities, typical of the manual process. So no, it's not perfect... but who is?
